How SIT & STRENGTHEN

BENEFITs YOUR RESIDENTS

Our exercises are proven to help your residents stay strong and mobile. Functional independence and fall prevention are the main benefits, but social interaction and mental well-being are also other key areas we look to improve.

STAY STRONGER

FOR LONGER

A main component of the ageing process is muscle deterioration. This affects joint mobility and flexibility in our muscles & balance – every day activities become more difficult.

As we live longer, the need for strengthening becomes more important. Slowing down the process of muscle deterioration means all named negatives of the aging process also slow down, therefore improving our quality of life.

Fall prevention

and independence

Stronger muscles will also mean stronger bones and joints. With stronger lower body muscles and joints, falling is less likely. Fall prevention and independence are two elements of the aging process that Sit & Strengthen aims to alleviate.

Sit & Strengthen will improve independence if muscle strength is maintained in order to perform every day activities.
